NIO October Deliveries Reach 34,246 as January–October Volume Rises 38.5%

NIO reported 34,246 vehicle deliveries in October 2026: 18,125 from the NIO brand, 8,383 from ONVO and 7,738 from firefly. January–October deliveries reached 334,547, up 38.5% year on year, while cumulative deliveries reached 1,332,139 as of 31 October. Securities Times independently reported the same figures on 1 November. These are company-reported deliveries, not industry-wide sales, registrations, production or revenue.

October Total and Brand Breakdown

NIO Inc. announced 34,246 vehicle deliveries in October 2026. Its disclosure divided the monthly total among three brands: 18,125 vehicles under NIO, 8,383 under ONVO and 7,738 under firefly. The three brand figures sum to the reported company total.

The company released the October update on 1 November 2026. Securities Times independently reported the same total and brand breakdown that day, providing a second account of the announcement rather than a separate data set.

The brand breakdown describes NIO Inc.'s multi-brand delivery structure. It does not establish any brand's market ranking, retail market share or registration total, because those measures require separately defined industry or registration data.

January–October and Cumulative Figures Use Different Periods

For January through October 2026, NIO reported 334,547 deliveries, an increase of 38.5% year on year. The growth comparison covers the same ten-month period of 2025; it is not the growth rate for October alone.

NIO also reported 1,332,139 cumulative deliveries as of 31 October 2026. This figure covers the company's cumulative delivery history through that date. It should not be confused with the 2026 year-to-date result or added to the October total.

The October figure, ten-month figure and cumulative figure therefore answer different questions: one calendar month, the first ten months of 2026, and deliveries accumulated through the end of October respectively.

What the Delivery Data Does Not Show

These numbers are vehicle deliveries reported by NIO Inc. They should not be relabelled as factory production, wholesale shipments, retail registrations or recognised revenue. Those indicators have different recognition rules and time frames.

The cited release and cross-check do not provide a country-by-country export breakdown within these figures. A delivery total also does not reveal how many vehicles were cleared through Chinese customs during the same month. Export declarations, shipping and customer handover can fall in different reporting periods.

Likewise, the 38.5% rate describes NIO's own January–October delivery comparison. It is not a growth estimate for China's new-energy vehicle market or for all Chinese vehicle exports.

Source and Statistical Scope

  1. Reporting entity. The figures cover NIO Inc. and its NIO, ONVO and firefly brands, not the entire Chinese automotive industry.
  2. Monthly period. The 34,246 total and three-brand breakdown cover October 2026.
  3. Year-to-date comparison. The 334,547 total covers January–October 2026, and 38.5% compares that period with January–October 2025.
  4. Cumulative measure. The 1,332,139 figure is cumulative through 31 October 2026, not an annual total.
  5. Cross-check. NIO supplied the primary company disclosure; Securities Times independently published the same monthly, brand, year-to-date and cumulative figures on 1 November 2026.
